VolunTEEN Summer Program

The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina (RMHENC) VolunTEEN Program offers High School students on-site*, and virtual experiential learning. Students gain the ability to work with staff and learn more about our local chapter and global organization through various onsite and online projects. Over the course of 10 weeks from June-August, students and staff will work together to set expectations and complete projects. The program is available to students seeking service hours related to scholarships or scholastic requirements.

*Due to COVID-19 we are moving to a completely virtual program from Summer 2021. Opportunities for on-site learning may resume earlier. Staff will update students.

“Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

– Martin Luther King, Jr.
